1 HAS - Homework Options for Tuesday, March 17

1) Watch this video

1960s Fashion

Then write a text (80-100 words) comparing fashion today to fashions of the 60s.  "Compare" means use the phrases we've learned over the past few weeks:  as __ as, not as __ as, -er than, more __ than, -est of all, most __ of all.

Here are some things you can compare:
- colours
- hairstyles
- hemlines (Rocklänge)
- men's fashions
- accessories (glasses, jewelry, hats)
- hippie vs. hipster fashion
- patterns (polka dot, check, paisley, blocks of colour)

Here are some adjectives you can use (or use your own!)
- colourful
- funky
- groovy
- mod (short for modern)
- old-fashioned
- psychedelic

- sleeve length
- accessories (glasses, jewelry, hats, ties)

Here are some adjectives you can use (or use your own!)
- colourful
- funky
- old-fashioned
- cool
- formal / informal

Begin your text:  Today I went to the Fashion Museum and saw a video about men's fashions.  Over time, men's fashion has changed for the (better/worse)...
