Write an article about stereotypes.  In your article:
                *  define the term “stereotype” in your own words and give
                    an example (introduction)
                *  explain how stereotypes can lead to prejudice and give an 
                    example (body 1)
                *  discuss how exceptions to stereotypes can help open 
                    people’s minds (body 2)
                *  give a convincing example of an exception to a stereotype - think about 
                    the videos we watched or use a personal example (body 3)
                * (conclusion) encourage people to be open-minded and 
                   make their own decisions

Approximately 250 words (50 words per paragraph)

1) Give your article an interesting title.
2) Start your article in an interesting way (use a question or a personal anecdote to grab your audience and make them want to keep reading)
3)  The first paragraph should be an introduction to the subject (stereotypes). 
4)  The conclusion should leave the reader with something to think about.

5)  Write your article in 5 paragraphs (introduction, body 1, body 2, body 3, conclusion)

6)  Check your text before you turn it in using this checklist.
