1ZBMI - Homework for Tuesday, November 5

For Tuesday, November 5

1) Finish what you need to finish in the first chapter (Nice to Meet You) in Trauner.

     a) See the checklist on page 21 for the COMPETENCIES you should have learned.
         i)  I can introduce myself
        ii)  I can present my family and its members
       iii)  I can describe different types of families and relationships
        iv) I can describe the pros and cons of social networks
        v)  I can talk about friends and friendships

     b) Review the GRAMMAR in the lesson
         i) pronouns (introduced on pages 13 and 17 in the Topics book).  If you need more practice, see the explanation on page 72 of the Workbook and do exercises on page 23 (Task 1) and 24 (Task 2).  Or practice on https://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar/pronouns.
        ii) the verb "have", the verb "be" (introduced on page 15 of the Topics book)

2) Do the vocabulary for Unit 2 in the Topics book (Work to Live)
     a) Match the meanings to the German on page 23
     b) Use the vocabulary in the sentences on page 23-24.

3) If you want to work ahead, you may do exercises on pages 24-26 in the topics book.

4) Of course, you should do an English activity and write about it.  I suggest watching this video and writing your reaction to it!
