2) Prepare remarks to do a social media monologue.

You are spending a year as an exchange student in Australia. In class you are doing a presentation on human rights.
Individual Long Turn (4-5 minutes)
In your presentation you should
- outline facts about the Declaration of Human Rights and its basic ideas
- interpret the pictures in connection with the topic
- exemplify violations of human rights throughout history
- illustrate the situation of minorities in our world
Interaction (5-6 minutes)
After the presentation your English form teacher discusses the issue of immigrations and refugees. Be prepared
- to find out more about the history of immigration in Australia
- illustrate the prejudices and discrimination against immigrants in everyday life
- refer to the issue of refugees in Europe
- state your opinion about the situation of refugees and asylum seekers
- suggest measures to improve their situation
