For Monday, April 11:
1) Think of a topic you can teach the class about. It could be how to make your favorite food, how to play your favorite sport, how to cure hiccups, how to draw a horse. Anything you can speak freely about in English for 3-5 minutes.
2) Bring an advertisement from a magazine to class (it could be in English or German). Be able to describe the ad in terms of AIDA:
A - get Attention (What's the first thing you see when you look at the ad?)
I - keep Interest (Is there text that tells you more about the product?)
D - arouse Desire (What makes you want to buy the product?)
A - take Action (is there a web address, a coupon, a special offer in the ad?)
