8C - In class, Tuesday, March 13

1) Last discussion about gun culture and violence in America

2) Write a journal entry responding to ONE of the following prompts:


  • "Guns don't kill people. People kill people." - the NRA
  • Trump's solution for school shootings:  "Arm teachers"
  • America has a gun problem - Here are some solutions


Take 5 minutes to plan your text.  Then write for 25 minutes.  Write 200-250 words. Ideally you will support your ideas with details and examples from the last few English lessons.
