2) Look at at least FIVE Super Bowl Commercials at this website:  https://superbowl-ads.com/ Be able to describe one commercial IN DETAIL so that a person who hasn't seen it could imagine what it looks like.  Then explain what makes it a successful commercial (see list from class)

3) Finish the reading "Extreme Ironing" . We'll go over the answers.  Make sure you have FOUR words or fewer in your answers.

4) Bring any questions you have about English, English expectations, English grammar,

February 4 - In Class

Group A - Write a text
Group B - Talk for at least three minutes

* Explain what the Super Bowl is and why it is so popular for advertisements
* Give examples of products that are advertised during the Super Bowl
* Analyse what makes a memorable commercial
* Describe your favorite Super Bowl commercial using the AIDA formula

February 3 - In Class

9C - Give a monologue about Super Bowl advertising.  In your monologue you should:

* give an overview of the Super Bowl and why it is ideal for advertisers
* give examples of the products that are advertised and the features that make their ads effective
* analyse one ad using the AIDA formula

3C - Talk for at least two minutes about your favorite Super Bowl commercial

* Describe your favorite commercial from this year's Super Bowl
* Explain why you like it (what features made it memorable?)
* Bonus points if you can analyse it using the AIDA formula!
